Waterloo Village 1

Herbert Runt, a fine rat with an old fashioned charming attitude and long suffering husband of Harriet, was walking up the steps of Winchester train station and waiting at the platform for the London-Waterloo train, wearing a three piece suit and brown leather shoes, carrying a satchel over one shoulder and two suitcases beside him - he’d been in Winchester on a 5 day business trip.
He boarded the 9:45 train and sat in the first class carriage, took out his little round glasses and began reading a copy of the Guardian newspaper. He bought a cup of Earl Grey tea from the refreshment trolley maid who came round every so often, he has  very distinctive posh voice and always seemed to be on the serious side, although quite knowledgeable and interesting to talk to.
The train arrives in London-Waterloo at 12:15 and Herbert picked up all his belongings and departed the train. He took out his little gold watch which was attached to a gold chain clipped to his jacket pocket, the watch said 3:30, his wife, Harriet was due to meet him at 4:00, so he went for a walk down the river, stopping in a nearby shop outlet to buy s cheap loaf of bread and sat on a wooden bench and fed the ducks, he looked at his watch again, which now said 3:45 , he put the rest of the bread away in his pocket, which was then snatched by a greedy swan; and made his way back to the station.
He was back at the station entrance at precisely 4:00, his wife Harriet, looking rather elegant, was already  there to greet him and they both walked home to Waterloo Village, hand in hand.
